Paper Sculpture

In this project, my class and I had to do a paper sculpture. And don't ask me what my sculpture is because I really don't know. I just started to do random things and then this.

OSTA Logo

In this assignment, we had to re-design a logo for OSTA. I chose a bold font face because it stands out and it's easier to read than a regular font face. Overall, I am very happy with this assignment.

Shel Silverstein

Where the Sidewalk Ends

In this project me, my class and I had to take a  Shel Silverstein poem and do our own illustration to match the poem. Others did “Falling Up” and “The Voice”, but I did “Where the Sidewalk Ends” because I absolutely love this poem.

My illustration is a boy coming across the end of the sidewalk and he’s looking at the big sign that says, “SIDEWALK ENDS”. All in all, I very very  happy with this project.

Pen Tool Exercise 5

In class, we had to use the pen tool for practice. We had to practice to make curves, elipses and triangles, reversed curves, and make them into shapes like a heart or a clover.
Overall, I am very happy with my project. I came pretty close with my tracing. It’s not perfect, but it’s close enough.
